I grew up in Sun Valley, Idaho - always on the mountain and if not, was nose-in-book, playing the piano or ballet dancing. I was hooked on philosophy... ...and debate at probably a far too early age (Hegel, Spinoza) and went on to earn a bachelors in Philosophy and Creative Writing. What to do next?
I have worked in wine for over twelve years: with leading retailers, wholesalers, restaurants and wineries in New York, California and Idaho. I specialize in the wines of Champagne, Germany, Austria and Sherry. I am the Co-Founder of Sherryfest with writer Peter Liem, author of Sherry, Manzanilla and Montilla and ChampagneGuide.net. You can find my own wine stories at WineFeaturette.com (subscribe here!).
I lived in New York City for nine years and now reside wherever my suitcase is open.
