This third-generation family domaine is located in the northern part of the Mâcon region. They hold 11 hectares of vineyards with Chardonnay vines averaging 30 years of age – which boosts the concentration and complexity of the Mâcon Villages. Hand-harvested, gently pressed and then stabilized before the juice is allowed to slowly ferments over 10-15 days in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel. It remains in tank resting on the lees and completes malolactic fermentation before spring bottling. This is classic Mâcon Villages and a brilliant display of the charm and character of Chardonnay. With lively notes of green apple, pear, and acacia the wine is crisp, juicy, refreshing and layered.
